We searched the world for the perfect pair for Ovant, finally finding our way back to Australia, to Byron Bay, and to StrangeLove.

Start with The Full Minty, to see Verve and StrangeLove Dry Ginger Ale at play together. So refreshing. And then move on to the Cape to Cape, it’s like the grown up version of the Full Minty, ginger and mint powered by Grace and StrangeLove Hot Ginger Beer. Finish with the Bright and Bitter, an out-of-the-box combination of Royal and StrangeLove No.8 Tonic.



THE FULL MINTY

INGREDIENTS 

60 ml Ovant Verve
15ml Mint and Basil Syrup
4 Lime Wedges
15 Mint Leaves
1 btl StrangeLove Dry Ginger Ale


GARNISH

Mint Sprig
Crushed Ice


GLASSWARE & TOOLS

Highball
Cocktail Shaker
Muddler


TECHNIQUE

Place mint leaves, lime and mint and basil syrup into a cocktail shaker and muddle. Add Ovant Verve and enough cubed ice to almost fill a highball glass and shake for 5 seconds. Pour entire contents into a highball glass. Top with crushed ice and dry ginger ale. Garnish with a mint sprig.  



CAPE TO CAPE

INGREDIENTS 

60 ml Ovant Grace
15 ml Black Pepper Syrup
10 Mint Leaves
1 btl StrangeLove Hot Ginger Beer
4 Lime Wedges


GARNISH

Lime Peel, grated
Ice, cubed and crushed


GLASSWARE & TOOLS

Mule Mug
Cocktail Shaker
Muddler


TECHNIQUE

Add black pepper syrup, lime and mint into a cocktail shaker and muddle. Add Ovant Grace. Fill the shaker with cubed ice and shake for 5 seconds. Pour contents of shaker into the mug. Add the ginger beer and stir. Top with crushed ice and grated lime peel.



BRIGHT AND BITTER

INGREDIENTS

30 ml Ovant Royal
15 ml Mint & Basil Syrup
1 btl StrangeLove No.8 Tonic


GARNISH

Orange Wheel
Cubed Ice


GLASSWARE & TOOLS

Highball


TECHNIQUE

Build Ovant Royal, mint and basil syrup, and tonic water in a highball glass filled with cubed ice and stir. Garnish with an orange wheel.
